A screenwriter and award winning producer, Steve Gray focuses on film and television that offers viewers an opportunity to rethink their view of God. Senior and founding pastor of World Revival Church of Kansas City, his goal is to bring people "a religion that works" with an opportunity through comedic elements or real life stories to have a modern-day divine encounter with the living God. His comedy television show The Steve & Kathy Show (2006-2009) won 65 Telly awards and three regional Emmy Awards in its three seasons. An award winning mix of late-night talk show and zany SNL-style skits, the syndicated show was performed before a live audience, disarming viewers with creative humor while bringing powerful truths that bring hope. Gray's feature film 3 Blind Saints (2011) also incorporates comedy and zany antics as a bungling three-some fall into the roles of pastor and ministry workers as part of their court-ordained community service. A Dove Award winning film, 3 Blind Saints stars Richard Speight Jr. with featured actors Barry Corbin, Irma P. Hall and the late Murray Gershenz. Gray's productions extend to children's programming with Kids Ablaze (2016), a children's half-hour television show that helps kids know "God's got a plan for you" and online television. iRevival.tv, a subscription based online television website includes programming from Gray's church in addition to content from Steve Gray Ministries and other ministries around the world. His latest production is Steve & Kathy (2017) a ministry talk show combining real life stories of healings and God-encounters with contemporary worship music, prayer and Gray's preaching from God's word. Steve & Kathy airs in the U.S. on ISN and in the Middle East and Israel on Middle East Television (METV). Gray's next feature film titled "Princes of Peace" is in development. In addition to his film and television productions, Steve Gray is an author, songwriter and sought after speaker. His books include When the Kingdom Comes, Follow the Fire, Hope Heals and My Absurd Religion - By Which I Make My Living. Steve and his wife Kathy have been married for over 40 years and have served alongside each other in ministry and co-hosted both The Steve & Kathy Show and the new Steve & Kathy television program. Together, the dynamic couple have appeared on The 700 Club, Daystar Television Network, TBN, and CTN and also been featured in Charisma Magazine, Newsweek and Time magazine as well as other publications worldwide. They have one daughter and three grandchildren and live in Kansas City, Missouri.
