Yack Reyes

Producer and audiovisual director, teacher, co-founder of Animaedro Animation Studio, but above all stop motion animator. He is part of the board of directors of ASIFA Colombia, GEMA Colombia, he was representative of the Artistic-creative Sector of the National Council of Arts and Culture in Cinematography-CNACC 2014-2016. And he is president of the District Audiovisual Council of the Participation System of Bogotá since 2019. He started in the trades of production and photography in real image, but two years later, while he began to study film and television making at the National University of Colombia, he knew the world of animation to stay in it. He experiments with animation discovering artesanal and unexplored techniques. He has participated in different commercial, institutional and independent productions for Film, Television and Video as director, producer, animator and post-producer; obtaining awards and nominations such as: Quirino Awards, Animayo, Prix Jeunesse, Japan Prize, Lapáz Delaware Acero, Loop Latin American Festival, InVitro Visual Festival, Cusco Film Festival, Pobre Cuba Film Festival, Shock Awards, Equinoxio Festival, etc.
