Justin Bauer was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on January 7, 1984. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in 2006, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Digital Filmmaking at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway in 2010. He has been a member of the American Humanist Association and served on the board of the AHA's Arkansas chapter, the NWA Humanists.
