That year, McCray unexpectedly lost his infant son and grandmother just a few months apart from one another. A.C. fought through his pain, and spent 2012 writing and directing his film debut, The Destination - which was released 1 year to the day of his son's passing. The film's premiere screening raised money for Riley Children's Hospital. Revitalized and refocused, McCray jumped back into films in 2013, and hasn't looked back since. He is most known for his role as Sluggo in HM&M Films' popular splatstick horror comedy series, House of Whores.
