Windy Duncan was born in Northern California on March 1, and raised in the Huntington Beach area of Southern California. Her parents are both teachers and athletic coaches, and she has a younger sister and brother. The Performing Arts has always been a strong force in Windy's life. Growing up, she was always putting on shows, and spent her free time taking every performance class imaginable; from drama, theater, commercial acting, to ballet, tap, jazz, modern dance, and attending modeling school. She fell in love with the stage at the age of 9 when she landed the lead in the school play, and a few years later won a talent competition for a singing and dancing act while living in Missouri. Her first break was at 14, after moving to Las Vegas where she booked a National Commercial for The Broadway which is now Macy's. In high school, Windy was involved in the Dramatic Arts Program and modeling, appearing in several plays and booking commercials for Ford and Footlocker, and won Junior Miss California Pageant: Miss Photogenic and First Runner-Up, and Miss Photogenic at the International Model and Talent Competition (IMTC). She also represented the school in Academic Decathlon Competitions winning scholarships. She graduated with honors from California State University Long Beach with a B.S. in Business Administration: Marketing, and pursued post graduate studies at UCLA for Television Advertising Media. After college, Windy worked at KWHY-TV "The Business Channel" in Los Angeles for several years as a Media Advertising Account Executive, selling airtime, and writing and producing Financial News Segments and local commercials, working behind the scenes on the business side, winning several sales competitions, before returning to her original love of performing and pursuing a career as an actress.
