Rocco, who holds a Master Of Arts Degree, began his creative journey at the age of two by singing and mimicking his father's opera records. His first on stage starring role came in the fourth grade with the role of "Winnie the Pooh." Rocco is the producer, director, cinematographer, composer, and editor, who is in post- production on his horror-comedy-thriller movie, "Driven to Kill... Again," which will feature a musical score written and performed by Rocco, as well as starring in the motion picture. Rocco received the "Patriotic Citizen's Award" two years in a row for his rendition of the National Anthem in his home town which included, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Veteran's Day. Rocco is dedicated to helping those people in need, and has worked for "Meals on Wheels" and was an active member of Island Harvest delivering meals to the poor and disenfranchised. Rocco has been recognized for his efforts in helping the mentally handicapped, which has been a life long endeavor for him ever since a young boy helping his mother who gave her time to help those with mental disabilities. Rocco was honored when his "Gardens of Imagination" song from his debut album, "A Walk With Rocco," played at the April 2003 Children's Memorial Garden, as the dedication music for the official opening ceremony of the Children's Garden at the Museum of Jewish Heritage. Rocco is also a classically trained vocalist, and achieved All-State Choir two years in a row (a first, and not since in his public high school's history). He was one of eight from New York State to participate in All-Eastern Chorus his senior year of high school. Rocco is a trained "Method" actor having appeared in a half dozen major motion pictures. Rocco who is an award winning filmmaker most notable for his documentary, "Rocco at Cedarmere" that made its way around the festival circuit garnering the award "Best Documentary Musical Performance." Rocco is also an accomplished opera singer, having sung in four lead role full length operas, and a number of stage acting lead roles under his belt. Since September 2001, Rocco has been running his own label, Pagliacci Records, Inc., As well as starting his own film studio in 2005. Rocco, a voting member of Grammy, produced and released two albums; A Walk With Rocco, 2003 and For A Day, 2006 - both having received Grammy entry-nominations.
