Rafael Mellin

Co-founder of Grupo Sal, a production company based in Rio de Janeiro, Rafael Mellin is an award winner director. He started his career directing surf films and producing video clips, documentaries and concerts for some of the most influential names of Brazilian music, such as Chico Buarque, Maria Bethania and Teresa Cristina. Mellin was also the creator of "Nalu Pelo Mundo", a popular Brazilian TV show which aired on Multishow, lasting 9 seasons. In advertising, he directed commercials for Toyota, Google and Embratel, among many others. Currently, Rafael Mellin is the creator and director of several surfing TV shows aired by Canal OFF, a Brazilian cable channel owned by Globosat. And also the director responsible for some of the extreme sports' videos by Nike Brazil.
