Mr. C.L. is the president/CEO of Assertive Communications. After high school, Mr. C.L. formed a hip hop group with his younger brother. Mr. C.L's. first full length feature film "The Hitt-Maker", later renamed "Straight Hustl'N" was selected as Independent Film of the Year 2002 (b-Independent.com). Films "Money & The Power", and "50 Stacks", soon followed and were available in Blockbuster & Hollywood Video stores. His last film was a faith-based drama entitled "Leave It At The Altar" and is available for purchase at Barnes and Noble. Often called the next "Tyler Perry" , Mr. C.L. begin working on his first play in the spring of 2008. With the play "Just Believe", a story about having faith and putting all your trust in God. The first show sold out in six days and after multiple requests to give another performance, he decided to provide several. The encore presentations featured Gary 'Lil G' Jenkins from the R&B Group 'SILK', and Tyler Perry's "Madea's Family Reunion. Immediately after the success of "Just Believe", Mr. C.L. began writing more plays such as "Something In The Past", "A Mother's Prayer", and "Desperate-4-Love".His latest production "Preacher Man The Movie" is in the screening process.
