She is active in the fan film realm and stars in, produces and directs a local Star Trek series called Star Trek: Osiris. She has also appeared in a Firefly fan film. She started her own film production company called Fangirl Films. After the announcement of new Star Wars films in 2012, she created the website putmeinstarwars.com.
