John Galea was born on 24th June 1987 in the seaside town of Great Yarmouth. John, who grew up learning classical piano and taking drama and music lessons early on in Norfolk took part in the Youth Music Theatre as well as other various local societies. At the age of 19 after battling and overcoming Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer, John moved to London where he gigged and it wasn't long before John signed to a music management company after winning a National Songwriting contest. Whilst gigging, John starred in his first professional West End Show 'Fiddler On The Roof (2008)' at the Savoy Theatre playing the role of a Yeshiva Boy and was eager to pursue acting John started in a few short film roles and adverts and extra work including Eastenders. In 2011 John started in his first debut music video which he directed 'Do It My Way' shot by Luti Media and released his first independent EP The Scrapbook. The track Trendsetter he wrote was re recorded by German teen sensation Joelina and charted in Germany and was featured Beverly Hills 90120. 2012 saw John support Mcfly on tour in the UK with his band and after scoring a Number 1 in Malta with Thea Garrett's Frontline John started to write for other musicians including Black Butters Lao Ra ( Jesus Made Me Bad). In 2016, staring along side Actress Gemma Oaten, John started in the music video When You Truly Love Someone , shot by Award Winning film production company Art Touches Art which also entered the Top 20 commercial chart. In 2018, again along side Rich Kids go Skint Jodie Weston John released his Christmas EP which entered the iTunes Top 30 chart. John currently divides his time between London, Malta & Great Yarmouth.
