Julien Demers-Arsenault is a French Canadian director and screenwriter. He started his career as an animator and VFX artist before directing opening title sequences and animations sequences for feature films. His work on "Dédé à travers les brumes" (Through the Mist) (2009) gained a lot of media attention and caught the attention of the industry. In the following years he directed several commercials for prestigious brands as well as music videos for renowned artists. In early 2012 he approached Roger Frappier and Max Films to adapt the cult comic book series "Philemon" into a movie. With his co-writer/co-director Sebastien Denault, he directed the preliminary concept art that convinced legendary author Fred to authorize the movie adaptation. The project is still in development. In 2016 he joined Moment Factory as a multimedia director. He conceptualizes and directs state of the art permanent video installations for venues and public spaces worldwide, including Shinsegae franchises, Changi Airport, Royal Caribbean Cruises, AT&T discovery district and many more. Julien Demers-Arsenault is noted for his strong visual and artistic signature and is keen on blending live-action with visual effects and sophisticated animation to bring a uniqueness to the worlds he creates.
