Katherine had a Norman Rockwell childhood growing up on a Wisconsin dairy farm. Then she surprised her family - what?! - by majoring in theatre at Edgewood College in Madison. She won best actress awards in college, and acted in commercials and in theatres around Wisconsin (roles ranging from Blanche in Streetcar and Beatrice in Much Ado about Nothing, to Kathy in Vanities and Amanda in Private Lives). Marriage to an actor moved her to New Orleans where she worked with August Staub and earned her M.A. at the University of New Orleans. Then after a divorce, off to NYC! She loves the classics, playing such roles as Constance in Shakespeare's King John and Ranyevskaya in Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard - and M'Lynn in Steel Magnolias. Her theatre company is Country Girl Productions. Earning membership in both Actors Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA, Katherine loves the stage best, but hey, aren't those television residuals a delight?! Katherine is married to a great guy and they have a fabulous daughter who is on the autism spectrum.
