Christopher Malinowski

Filmmaker/Musician/Actor Christopher Malinowski was born in Wilmington, Delaware. He attended Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York in the 1990s, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Cinema and Photography. Chris has written and directed a number of motion pictures, including the 16mm avant-garde featurette "'Alms,' You Say" (2007) and the existentialist dramatic feature "Yes, Your Tide is Cold and Dark, Sir." (2013), which was an official selection at the Chain NYC Film Festival, the Timecode: NOLA Film Festival, the London International Film Festival, the Costa Rica International Film Festival, and the Wilmington Film Festival. Chris is also the guitarist/singer of the atmospheric rock band The Collingwood, with whom he's released four albums, including the "Yes, Your Tide is Cold and Dark, Sir.: Soundtrack and Score". Chris resides in Newark, Delaware with his wife, Chrissy, and their dog Leo. Chris's next feature "The Last Time I Saw You Blessed" is slated to begin shooting in mid-2018 in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and the surrounding region. Chris is also a still photographer, a runner, and a professional guitar instructor.
