Chris Green

Born in Salford, 45 year old Chris first enjoyed success when he came runner up in the RED Productions/CH4 Northern Soul new writers competition back in 2000. His competition entry Blaggers was commissioned and later shown on CH4 as part of their Dogma TV series. This was followed by 2 episodes of Offenders, again for CH4. He has also written for BBC3 and an episode of Dream Team for SKY1. His first feature as writer/producer Desperate Measures starring Ricci Harnett [Rise of the Footsoldier] and Stephen Lord [Shameless] was released in July 2011. Best Laid Plans which Chris wrote and was also an Exec on was released earlier this year, directed by Bafta winning David Blair and staring a host of great British acting talent including Stephen Graham, Maxine Peake, Adewale Akkinouye-Agbaje and David O'Hara. Chris is in pre production on a comedy feature film Law & Disorder with Vita Nova films after successfully pitching the project to an industry panel as part of the recent Triangle scheme that included Salt, Revolver, BFI & Film4. In addition, he has another comedy feature Strangeways Here we Come in pre production with Oh My Productions.
