Heather Taylor is a writer/ director originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She was staffed on season two of The Hardy Boys for Hulu/Corus. Her podcast, Anomaly, was an official selection of the 2021 Tribeca Festival. Her second feature film, Lethal Love, produced by Neshama Entertainment and MarVista Entertainment, is now streaming on Netflix. Heather started her writing career as a playwright and poet and is the author of three poetry collections. She graduated with a Masters in Scriptwriting from City University, London, and is an alum of the Royal Court Young Writers' Program, the Bell Media Prime Time TV program, and the Corus Writer's Apprentice Program. She was a finalist in both the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Awards and the PAGE Awards. Heather is an idea machine, the Indiana Jones of research, and former journalist/ ad(wo)man. She writes about complicated family relationships -- often told through a supernatural/ horror/ sci-fi lens -- that strive to destigmatize mental illness, disabilities, and poverty.
