Santiago Salinas

He studied communication in Mexico and cinema in Ireland. He began his career producing rock concerts for television. After making hundreds of commercials, TV shows and documentaries, he is focused on producing, writing and directing his feature debut GOY. My opera prima tells a story of personal discovery. An internal struggle in the face of traditional impediments of religion, politics, the status quo that can only be faced with courage... it is that or longing for freedom forever. My film talks about a universal perspective, from a very Mexican point of view.
