Gisela Adisa

Gisela Adisa is an American actress born of Caribbean and West African immigrants. She played Sandra in the U.S. Grand Jury Prize: Dramatic award winner, 'Nanny', which premiered at Sundance '22. She also played the lead in the award winning indie, 'Shield'. Projects this year include working under the direction of Mario Van Peebles on the Starz Network hit, 'Power Book III: Raising Kanan,' and a role in the upcoming Netflix heist series, 'Jigsaw.' She will voice a recurring character in a yet-to-be-released animated series by Dreamworks in 2023. Gisela is a Broadway actress who has also performed at several critically acclaimed American theaters, most notably at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles and Harvard's American Repertory Theater in Cambridge. Gisela enjoys volunteering for organizations tied to the arts, such as Broadway Inspirational Voices, the non-profit organization which received Tony Award Honors for Excellence.
