Geoff Ryan

Geoff Ryan is an award-winning film director. His feature film FRAY released theatrically to rave reviews with the LA Times saying, "Superior... packs a punch" and has been listed as one of the top 30 films on Amazon's "War & Military" movies. His music videos and television commercials have aired on broadcast both nationally and across the globe for clients such as Macy's and Lord & Taylor. As a young teen Ryan was introduced to the moving image in a one-week summer animation class where he met lifelong friend and collaborator Jarin Blaschke (cinematographer for The Witch, Fray). At sixteen years old the two decided to try live action and made a short film that was featured in the Northwest Film Center's "Young People's Film Festival". It was that first film, and another Ryan made on his own, that opened his eyes to the power of filmmaking to touch hearts and impact social change which continues to be his motivating force behind the films he makes.
