Rhiannon Hansen

Rhiannon Hansen was born on July 19th, 1988 in Las Vegas, NV. Her love of performing started at a very young age when she began dancing at the age of three. Singing lessons began at the age of five and acting and performing at the age of six. Desi Arnaz Junior was Rhiannon's first acting teacher, along with his wife "Miss Amy" teaching dance - this solidified her love of all things musical! Rhiannon moved to Logan, Utah at the age of eight where she continued training and performing. She joined her local competitive dance team, took private voice lessons and frequently performed on stage both locally and nationally. Rhiannon won many awards with her competitive dance team and as a solo dancer. In Junior High and High School she started really working on her singing career and competed in many local and regional country music competitions, usually placing in the top three. As much as she loved singing country music, she always came back to her love of musical theater. In High School she was very involved in Theater and performed in every show. She was also a member of the drill team and show choir. Upon graduating, Rhiannon was accepted into The American Musical and Dramatic Academy where she graduated from the two-year program in Los Angeles, CA. After graduation from AMDA, Rhiannnon auditioned for Legally Blonde the Musical: The Search for the Next Elle Woods. She went to New York to compete for the title role of Elle on Broadway. After placing third on the show, she landed the role of Margot on the First National Tour and understudied the role of Elle Woods. She was able to fulfill her dreams of playing Elle Woods and went on to perform the title role in over twenty shows on tour. Subsequently, Rhiannon went on to perform as Elle Woods in another production of Legally Blonde the Musical. After touring, she moved back to New York where she performed in many local shows, musical readings and regional theater around the country. Some of her favorite credits include: Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray in Concert (ISO/BSO), Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (Revision Theater) and Patty Simcox in Grease (MUNY). In between performing she worked on multiple Broadway shows as an executive assistant to Theatersmith Inc. It was on tour where she met her husband and they were married in July of 2014. In 2016, they welcomed their first son and soon after he was born, moved to Los Angeles California. They welcomed their second son in 2018. Rhiannon found her love of running and fitness after her children were born. She has completed two full marathons and seven half marathons with countless 5k & 10Ks. She also teaches pre & post natal fitness as well as being a running coach in her spare time. Rhiannon balances her home life with her acting career. When she isn't on stage or on set she enjoys baking cookies, running and being the best mom she can be.
