Jessica Jones

Jessica Jones was trained as a dancer and it was only through her natural determination that she slipped in last to a movie audition and landed the pivotal part in urban drama Hush Your Mouth alongside Khalid Abdallah (Green Zone, The Kite Runner, Jay Simpson (Shifty) and Ruth Sheen (Another Year). Critics have described Jessica's tough and emotional performance in Hush Your Mouth as "genuine, spontaneous, dangerous and authentic. Jessica Jones gives the stillest and most understated of performances - in this British Classic." Her director on Hush Your Mouth, Tom Tyrwhitt has written a film for her called Half a Heartbeat and Jessica has worked with Tom on the title song alongside Leona Lewis'and George Michael's guitarist Graham Kearns. In Nov 2010, Jessica was awarded Best Debut Performance Augusta Award at the Bragacine International Independent Film Festival of Braga, Portugal.
