Carlos graduated with an MFA degree in Acting from Yale School of Drama. He also has a BA in theater from CSU, Northridge. Born in the Philippines, Carlos and his family migrated to Los Angeles, California. Theater Companies he has worked with include East West Players, Yale Cabaret, ICAP and Yale Repertory Theater. Opportunities kept manifesting for behind the camera work as Carlos worked on TV segments for The Voice, America's Got Talent, Dancing with the Stars, American Music Awards, VH1 Divas and others. He even collaborated to create a world tour: The Beginning for K-Pop boy band, JYJ. His short "iBully" which he co-directed with Paul Morente won an award at the New Media Film Festival for Best LGBT. He established Behind the Scenes Corporate Coaching, a coaching company that uses acting techniques in day to day business dealings. The thought behind is "Let's make being human work again." Having production companies in both Los Angeles and Manila Carlos is hoping to tell the stories of the underrepresented.
