Tracie Hovey

Tracie Marie Hovey was born in Savannah, Georgia. She graduated from Sacramento State University with a BA in Journalism and graduated from George Washington University with her Masters in Strategic Public Relations. Hovey is an award-winning filmmaker with her documentary film Secrets to Love that launched in 2008 and won numerous awards on the film festival circuit. The film was distributed by PBS. In June 2014, Hovey opened her business Ovation PR & Advertising which manages the publicity and promotion of the Maryland International Film Festival, new films, non-profits, and celebrities.
