Jackie Olivier

Jacqueline Alliss is a Casting Director based in Perth, Western Australia. Jacqueline studied an Advanced Diploma of Screen Studies: Film and Television. She was selected to produce two-$10k short films when the course expectation was to only produce one. The two short films she produced were nominated in the 2008 Western Australian Screen Awards (WASA's). Following this success she was selected by a panel to produce The Office of Road Safety commercial, which was screened on Movies by Burswood and Channel 10 in 2008. Simultaneously Jacqueline was selected to coordinate and present the Central TAFE graduation screening for over 200 guests whilst taking advantage of working in professional films such as Iron Bird, Two Fists One Heart and commercials such as Working With Children's Check and other government television commercials. She produced a Dorito's commercial that was awarded "People's Choice Award" and was then nominated Young Film Maker of the Year in 2008 and 2009. While working on the previously mentioned projects she also undertook mini projects including, music videos that were screened on Rage ABC and in the Western Australian Music Industry (WAMI) DVD. Having had the opportunity to work on Australian films allowed her to shift her expertise to Los Angeles where, a city she decided to travel to in order to progress in the film and television industry. Here she met with industry members who assisted the execution of the Heath Ledger Scholarship (HLS). Establishing trust with industry members, was on the 2012 committee board for HLS.
