Shona was the winner of Channel 4's search for 'Miss Naked Beauty' 2008 and off the back of her success on camera and as such a positive young advocate for body confidence was asked to present for How To Look Good Naked. This has brought her to appear as a guest on various other TV and Radio shows and be commissioned for her own 1 hour show for Channel 4. Shona's tenacity and belief in finding body confidence, especially for younger people, has brought her success during the filming of her 2nd series of How To Look Good Naked while petitioning government to 'add a new compulsory hour per year to the National Curriculum that will seek to alleviate the rising body image problems in the UK's 12-20 year olds'. Along with Gok Wan she met with Ed Balls who has backed this amendment and is in consultation over lesson plans. The petition can be viewed on the Number 10 website. Prior to that she was selected to author a short film from the Connect Festival in Scotland in 2007. Shona was selected by the Connect and List Magazine to interview the likes of Hot Chip, Bat For Lashes, Polyphonic Spree and Newton Faulkner, and cover performances from Bjork, Regina Spector, Idlewild, LCD Soundsystem and the Beastie Boys.
