Rachael Kathryn Bell has been acting since the age of 12, after trying out for her elementary school's musical "The Secret Garden". It was in that musical that she fell in love with acting, singing, and performing in general. She now goes by "little luna" and is fully immersed in her music career, but read on to see how she got there. At the age of 13 she started traveling back and forth from her home city of Pittsburgh to Los Angeles to audition for various commercials, TV shows, and films. Coast to Coast agency was the first to sign her, alongside Susan Curtis as management. Rachael would spend episodic season and pilot season in LA, homeschooling while auditioning, and then hop back into her public school in Pennsylvania whenever she wasn't in LA. She traveled back and forth from age 13-18, until moving to LA permanently after graduating high school in 2011. Before moving, she landed her first TV Show Guest Star role as "Addison" in The Suite Life on Deck (2008) on Disney Channel, at age 15. Originally Addison was a 1 episode character, but they loved Rachael's portrayal of her so much that they brought her back for 7 more episodes, throughout the 3 seasons the show aired. The following years, Rachael spent time studying her craft at Warner Loughlin Studios and auditioning full time. She worked on shows such as Awkward. (2011) and Body of Proof (2011) , and booked roles on independent films such as the Austin Film Fest Audience Award Winner: Speak Now (2013) . Since she had only ever allowed herself to focus on acting, years of yearning to make music built up. In 2018 she started attending songwriting camps for other artists, plus spent time working in the studio more regularly, writing songs for her own artist project: little luna. As of October 2nd, 2020 Rachael aka little luna released her debut single "shift & go" with a lyric video, music video, and full social media switch. In the first week "shift & go" broke 10K + streams on Spotify, 15k + streams all streaming platforms combined, and 2k YouTube views on her Music Video. In a statement, rachael said "this music is my sonic journey through re-discovering my truest self, giving you sounds & words to do so, as you do the same". Her background in film and love for the cinema, is evident in her music sonically and visually. Whether it be film or music, rachael has creativity on the horizon.
