Kit Harington

British actor recognized mainly for playing Jon Snow in the successful television series Game of Thrones (2011-19), a role that earned him numerous awards and nominations including one Golden Globe and two Primetime Emmy Awards and Critics' Choice Television Awards. He studied at the Royal Holloway, University of London, where he graduated in Drama and Art History. He then continued his training at the Drama Studio London. Before achieving fame with Game of Thrones, Harington appeared in several theatrical productions and some minor television series. His first prominent film role was in the film Silent Hill Revelation 3D (2012). In addition to Pompeii (2014), Kit has worked in Spooks: The Greater Good (2015) and The Death and Life of John F. Donovan (2018). He also voiced Eret in How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014) and How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (2019). On television, he starred in the miniseries Gunpowder (2017), which explores the history of the Gunpowder Plot. In addition to acting, he has a keen interest in theater and has participated in several productions including War Horse in London's West End. His career has been highlighted by his talent for playing dramatic and complex characters.
