Matt Crews

Born November 1977 in Michigan, Matt spent a brief portion of his early childhood in Utah before moving back to Michigan with his parents and younger brother. Matt was always interested in theater and worked on his high school tech crew. He went on to study theater at Saginaw Valley State University, among other areas of study. After "Locked Away," Matt went on to assist with the theater productions at a local high school, helping out with set building. In 2009, Matt married Holly (Dyjak) Rinz. They had known each other since childhood, having ridden the school bus together. They lost a daughter, Hope Ellen, at birth in 2013, and have a son born in 2016. Exploring his interest in photography, Matt first worked for other photographers before starting his own business in 2010. Through Dynamic Focus Photography he endeavors to change the way you see photography. Matt is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys hiking, running, mountain biking, kayaking, and playing disk golf.
