At age 17 his first short film Insomnia (1999) was awarded at the Valdivia International Film Festival and after only three months attending Chile's Escuela de Cine Film School, he was hired as a cameraman by Patch Adams, with whom he traveled all over the world as a cameraman. In 2006 he moved to Argentina where he co-founded VideoFlims, a prolific independent film distribution company, and along filmmaker Pablo Pares he co-directed and starred in the first Argentinian web series Post (2008). Also in Argentina he released his first three independent feature films: Burning Down The House (2010), The Barriga Experience (2012), and Cichonga (2013). In 2014 he returned to Chile to work as an assistant director in international production services, screenwriter in Canal 13, music video director and viral videos for Internet companies. In 2019 he premiered Clownvets, his second documentary feature and his first film in English language.
