Film Maker, Director, Film Composer, Pianist, Recording Artist. Born Chicago IL October 26, 1967. Started private piano lessons at Northwestern University in Evanston, Il, at age 4; played first recital of original compositions at Lutkin Hall on the campus of Northwestern University, at age 8. Considered something of a child prodigy. While dabbling in making films, Young's focus was on music for the next 30 years - created a high end special events consulting business in Chicago, providing live music for high profile events. Young acted as music director and producer, often appearing at star studded society events, fundraisers, benefits, and charity galas with a 30 piece orchestra, playing piano and conducting. Worked with musical artists such as Donna Summer, Barry Manilow, Rita Moreno, Chubby Checker, The Temptations, The Four Tops, etc. and celebrities such as Sharon Stone, Geena Davis, Clint Eastwood, Sigourney Weaver, and many more. His company, "Bradley Young Entertainment", became one of the go-to "music for special events" companies in the United States. As a jazz pianist, Young has had a long and successful career, working with many of the top musicians in Jazz, such as Randy Brecker, Peter Erskine, Dave Carpenter, John B. Williams, Play Johnson, Jack Sheldon, as well as accompanying many vocalists, including Jesse Palter, Andrea Miller, and Sherry Williams. A recording featuring legendary Jazz trumpet player Chet Baker, which was recorded in 1986, was released on Enja Records in 2009. Since moving to Los Angeles, Young co-directed a low budget horror film, "Recycled Parts", in 2007. He also co-wrote the musical score for the film. He is currently at work on a number of short films and a feature screenplay.
