Matt Mendoza

Writer, Director, Editor based in Washington, DC. Mendoza cut his teeth in Kansas, filming shorts, docs, and music videos. While there, he wore many hats including Writer, Editor, Director, Producer, Grip, and played many notable roles including "Weird Guy" and "Zombie." Before leaving KS, he participated in five 48HR film competitions, functioned as PA on American Ninja Warrior, Production Assistant/Technical Producer for Hasbro/Wizards of the Coast, Swing Grip for Kevin Willmott's "Destination Planet Negro," Producer for short projects for Americorp, and Camera Operator for the nearly-released feature documentary "Garden City." In DC, he organized, directed, and co-wrote an award-winning film for the 48HR Film Festival and is a Senior Technical Evaluator for National Geographic/Disney.
