In his latest film,"Expulsion", Colton stars as two versions of Scott from alternate universes. He leads the sci-fi-thriller with Lar Park Lincoln (Friday 13th, Knots Landing) supporting as Shana, a cold-blooded corporate leader. Nominated for best actor at the Los Angeles Film Awards, Tapp played a dual-lead character role as both the talented corporate physicist creating a multi-dimensional portal and the manipulative, charming darker alter ego from the other side. The industry took notice at the stark contrast between roles and at first thought multiple actors were playing the two parts, only to be shocked when learning he played both roles. Some thought it was twins playing the two roles separately. He earned an introduction credit in "Three Days In August" where he starred alongside Barry Bostwick(Rocky Horror Picture Show, Spin City) and Mariette Hartley (The Incredible Hulk, Encino Man) and Meg Foster, in a drama-driven family tragedy. Playing John Wilkes Booth in "The Ghandi Murder", a big budget Film starring Steven Lang (Avatar 1 & 2, Don't Breathe) and Vinnie Jones (XMen) about the conspiracy revolving around the later years of Ghandi's life. took the southern actor to film in Sri Lanka, where he shot the historical drama about India's revolutionary thought leader. Working within the confines of a simulated space shuttle in "The Boundary" alongside Neil De Grass Tyson (Cosmos), Colton played a military fighter pilot, recruited by NASA to undergo the world's first mission to the edge of the universe.
