Will Martin

Will Martin is a filmmaker born and raised in Austin, Texas. His mother a swimming instructor and father a carpenter, he spent his childhood making skate videos and reenacting movies with friends from his East Austin home. As a teenager, Martin entered the local public eye as a community activist, staging high school walk-outs during the Iraq war. After studying film for one year at Columbia College Chicago, Martin dropped out to self-produce action narratives and music videos for local rappers and rock bands. An active member of IATSE, he learned the do's and don't's of the film industry as a set builder on several motion pictures and television series. After performing small acting roles in Atlanta, Martin moved to Australia where he spent a year directing and editing PSAs and documentaries across Queensland and New South Wales. As of 2017, he resides back in Austin developing an independent feature film.
