Gwen Isaac

Gwen was born in London but she grew up in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand. Her mother was an artist and there was a big single parent artist community in New Zealand. She was deeply influenced by Seven Up! (1964) which drove her to study film at Auckland University of Technology, in which she earned a Bachelor of Communications, Television Documentary. After that she moved back to her birthplace of London to pursue he career and she met her husband actor Graham McTavish. Later they moved to LA to pursue his acting career and eventually moved to Wellington when her husband was cast on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012). Gwen has 2 daughter with her husband Graham named Honor and Hope.
