Jenny Dempster has a Master of Fine Arts (MFA ) in Acting and a BA in international studies with an emphasis in culture and conflict resolution. Jenny, a Los Angeles resident, is originally from Sioux Falls South Dakota and is the daughter of SD State Senator, Tom Dempster and Pat Dempster. She and her family are very active in SD politics, the Arts and have a passion for international travel. Jenny has been acting since she was 6 years old and has studied at some of the top acting institutions in the world, including The Globe Theater in London, Tisch School of Arts at New York University, Guild Hall School of Drama in London, University of Denver and Temple University in Philadelphia. Jenny acts on stage and in film with nearly 40 stage credits around the world and several short films. Jenny was the lead actress in Yogi box, a semi-finalist in the Door Post Film Festival, Cookie De Mayo and Carpet Diem which she was awarded Best Actress in the 24 hour Film Festival two years in a row. In addition to this Jenny has been involved in coaching at The Acting Corps in Los Angeles, Asst. teaching at Temple University and the Mirman School for the Gifted and is a co-founder of a group of professional actors who work together to constantly improve there skills in a classroom like setting. Jenny recently Executive Produced, "Home" a short film produced by Filament Features and directed by Charlie Hofheimer, starring Jenny and Jamie Donnelly. Jenny is presently writing a political satyr feature film designed to poke fun at the American view of philanthropy and diminish the cultural gap between American/Indian and Indian/American culture.
