Andrea McCloud is an author and screenwriter with feature film scripts in development at Lionsgate, Working Title, and DreamWorks. Most recently, she sold an hour-long drama pilot to E!, which she then redeveloped for TVLand as a half-hour drama-comedy. Andrea graduated from Lehigh University with degrees in both political science and journalism, and has worked in various editorial capacities at the Washington Bureau of Newsday, the National Journal, Reader's Digest, Vanity Fair, and Chronicle Books. After several years in publishing, she began freelance writing, authoring several lifestyle books and numerous articles. Andrea eventually made her way back to school, earning her MFA in screenwriting from UCLA. There she was a winner of the Screenwriters' Showcase as well as a finalist for the Samuel Goldwyn Writing Awards for her script Room for Error. Andrea is represented by CAA and Management 360.
