Chris Perdue

Chris is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker. He has written, produced, directed, acted in, and edited feature films, television shows, documentaries, commercials and music videos for the last 20 years. As of 2020, Chris is a full-time artist and is working on an animated series. Chris' work has been released theatrically, on cable, and online. Chris was awarded the prestigious 2012 Apple Distinguished Program award for his Academy of Media Arts, a Career and Technical Education program, which was implemented in multiple L.A. high schools. His humanitarian efforts led him to establish the SoCal Student Film Festival, an international, high school, student film festival, which was sponsored by Canon, the U.S.C. School of Cinematic Arts, Chapman University, Columbia College Hollywood, and Taco Bell, among others. The festival, which began at one school, ran for nine years and eventually involved 56 countries and thousands of submissions each year.
