Mauricio is a Mexican actor and singer. He was born in Mexico City on November 19, 1982. He studied acting and singing in Mexico and in some other places such as Holland. For many years he focused his career on theater, above all musicals were he performed in many of them in Mexico. His last great performance was in the Mexican production of Broadway's musical "The Lion King" (El Rey León) directed by Julie Taymor and produced by Disney Theatrical and OCESA where he had the role of Mufasa/Ensemble. On international TV, Mauricio has a role in the series "Imposters" Season 2 (NBC Universal/Bravo) performing with stars like Uma Thurman, Griffin Dunne, Inbar Lavi, among others. He recently has acted on the TV program produced by W Studios, Lemon Studios and Televisa "Como Tú No Hay 2". He also had the supporting role of Brandon on the NBC Telemundo's series "Falsa Identidad" available now on Netflix. Other projects on Mexican TV are: the soap opera La Doble Vida de Estela Carrillo (Televisa) where he plays the villain Ausencio Granados. He has been in series such as Su Nombre Era Dolores La Jenn Que Yo Conocí produced by BTF Media and Univision, Los Súper Pérez (MVS) and in other productions of Televisa such as Corazón Indomable, Lo Que la Vida Me Robó, Quiero Amarte and La Gata where he performed the bad guy Rey sharing credits with Maite Perroni. He has acted in some other musicals and drama plays such as El Reencuentro with Mariana Treviño; Peter Pan, La Villa de Santa Claus, Dracunejo (Bunnicula), Etc... Depositarios was his first film, directed by Rodrigo Ordoñez.
