Kerrigan was born and raised in Deep East Texas in the small town of Nacogdoches. She started acting at the age of seven in local theatre productions. Her father is an Environmentalist and her mother is an Event/Wedding Planner. She has a younger brother Russell, who is also an actor. In her free time she likes to be on her family farm in Texas. As well as acting, Kerrigan likes to sing, write songs, play the guitar, piano, and flute.
