Bradford Stevens was born in Chicago, IL to Claude and Amelia Stevens. He attended Mendel Catholic High School in Chicago, before attending Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Fl were he fell in love with the theater, while working with the FAMU Essential Theater. While attending FAMU, he had his own radio show called, "Lesson One" on WAMF radio and helped out on a number of student films over at Florida State University. Year later Bradford went to the DePaul Theater School, where he earned his MFA in acting, and met one of his best friends, Stacey Carpenter. A few months before graduating, they founded Land of Misery Films. A few weeks later, Bradford was accepted into the Second City Improv Conservatory,as well as the Second City Musical Improv conservatory. Under Land of Misery Films, Bradford has written many films, including, "Walt Brother Walt" which was screened at the Black Harvest Film Festival as well as the Mid West Independent Film Festival. Most recently he co-wrote and produced the shorts, "Flying Man" and "Joe" with Stacey Carp.
