Cara Yeates

Cara Yeates is a New York-based filmmaker and actor. Cara runs the Brooklyn-based boutique production company Trigger Creative with her creative partner, Ryan Kipp. Cara has produced over 80 narrative, documentary, and industrial projects, including the award-winning pilot for 'Strut,' a selection of the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival, and the indie feature film, 'The Three Metamorphoses.' As a director, Cara has directed documentary content across Europe, the US, and Israel. Her first short documentary, 'Taking New Steps,' was released on the blockchain platform Breaker. She's directed video content with Alexander Wang, Karlie Kloss, and Gramatik. Cara is currently in pre-production for her first narrative short, 'Gone Before Your Eyes.' Cara started her career in the theater creating and performing solo shows. She toured four of these one-woman shows across North America, receiving critical success and numerous awards. Her performances have been called "blistering," "a tour-de-force," and "irresistible."
