Growing up in the city of Rochester, New York, Nora maintains a great deal of respect for the artistic and theatrical benefits of her hometown. Her mother was a music teacher and Nora took piano, dance and musical theater lessons for much of her young life. She studied at the Geva Theater Summer Conservatory for 2 consecutive summers, was involved in many professional dance and musical productions (notably, playing the role of Giselle in the ballet of the same title) and attended Nazareth Academy for their high school dance program. She obtained a BFA degree in Acting with a dance minor from SUNY Fredonia and before coming to LA toured with the Prairie Fire Children's Theater's production of "The Wizard of Oz," playing the scarecrow.
