Grégory Buchakjian

Gregory Buchakjian graduated from Paris IV Sorbonne, teaches at Academie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA) and Universite Saint-Joseph (USJ), Beirut. He participated in the making of public projects within ALBA, was a co-founder of Atelier de Recherche ALBA (1997-2004) and part of the team in charge of the School of Decorative Arts performances that took place in Baalbeck temples (2004-2008). Author of travelogues (Baron & Baron, Halte) and an animation movie (What, shoes?), in 2008 he presented his first solo exhibition of photographs (Nighthawks).
