Simona Nobile

Simona Nobile is an international script consultant, screenwriter and trainer. With a background in foreign languages and mass media studies, Simona started her career working for European institutions in Luxembourg and Frankfurt, before specializing in screenwriting and script editing. She then went on working as Story Editor for international production companies in London (High Point Films and Television, Amber Entertainment), Italy (Bianca Film, Rizzoli Audiovisivi, Cristaldi Pictures, Graffiti Doc) and Los Angeles (Lightdog Productions). Simona is also Script Consultant for Eurimages (since 2009), Creative Europe-MEDIA Program (since 2003), Torino Film Lab, Fondation Gan/Groupe Ouest, Moulin d'Andé, Antalya Film Forum, Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and several European production companies. As a Member of the Selection Committee of the Italian Ministry of Culture - Cinema Department MIBACT (2014-2017) she has been responsible for the selection of feature projects requesting national development and production funding. She's lecturer at the Università La Sapienza of Rome and trainer/tutor for MEDIA, EAVE, Torino Film Lab, Groupe Ouest, Scuola Holden, among others. She's also a member of EWA Network and of the Selection Committee for the Lazio Cinema International Fund. As screenwriter she's developing the feature film "Mine" and the TV series "Beauty Hunters" and "Baby Land". Working as story editor for several international co-productions, Simona Nobile has been instrumental in the scouting of upcoming European talents and in the development of feature films for companies like Amber Ent., Cristaldi Films, Bianca Film. Her credits as story editor/creative consultant/production supervisor include "Agnelli" (2017, directed by Nick Hooker, produced by HBO), documentary feature "Another Me" (directed by Claudio Casazza, produced by Graffiti Doc), feature film " Romeo & Juliet" (2013, directed by Carlo Carlei, written by Julian Fellowes -produced by Amber Ent./Echolake/Svarovski Ent.), "Il Generale della Rovere" (2011, Rai Uno), "L'Aviatore" (2008 - Mediaset) - both directed by Carlo Carlei and produced by Rizzoli Audiovisivi.
