Jordan Mark Windsor's first short film, 'Runaways', funded through New Zealand Film Commission's Fresh Shorts Fund in 2010, played at numerous International Film Festivals including AFI Fest in 2013. Over the last decade he has been directing as one half of the directing duo, THUNDERLIPS. Since 2018, Jordan has been focusing on writing feature film scripts; namely 'Golden Years', which has been developed with Script Consultants through Candlelit Pictures and the NZFC's Boost Development Fund, and 'Mum, I'm Alien Pregnant', for which he received SEED funding through the New Zealand Writers' Guild in the second half of 2019. Since 2013, directing duo THUNDERLIPS have been making groundbreaking music videos and stand-out commercials. Their music videos have garnered awards both in their native New Zealand and internationally, including six Vimeo Staff Picks. They won Best Music Video at Show Me Shorts for the first four consecutive years of the award at the festival (2014-2017), and in 2016 THUNDERLIPS were nominated for Best New Director at the UKMVAs. In 2019, their campaign Pre Testie Bestie for Health Promotion Agency NZ racked up Gold Awards at Axis in New Zealand, AWARD in Australia, as well as a Wooden Pencil at D&AD. THUNDERLIPS continue to work on short form projects, while also developing feature length screenplays.
