Rujuta Deshmukh

Rujuta Deshmukh, a Marathi film and TV actress was born and brought up in Pune. Her family included her parents - Her father Avinash Desmukh was the owner of a theatre company. For her education, she has completed her graduation in English Literature from S P College. She started her acting career with a small role in a play, right in the 4"h standard and worked in almost 500 shows. During her college life, she started a role in the natak 'Abhinetri'. Her most Memorable role was as Sai Bai in Star Pravah Serial Raja Shiv Chattrapati and the lead role in Zee Marathi's Kalat Nakalat serial. She also started her hand at direction with the show Shahir and also assisted in costume design for some time. She has also acted in one hindi film - Family.
