Sijo Joseph

Sijo began his professional life as a graphic designer and video editor for television shows and motion pictures. Later, driven by a strong curiosity, he looked into other specializations in post-production and visual effects. He holds a postgraduate degree in "animation and VFX," and since 2007, he has worked on hundreds of domestic and foreign productions in both specialized and generalist capacities, filling a variety of positions from artist to supervisor. He collaborated with businesses like Technicolor, DreamWorks Animation, Famous Studios, Globals Inc. and others. As part of his ongoing experiments and explorations in filmmaking, he created and directed an independent VFX short-film project titled "Alexandra" in 2018. This project's goal was to promote "integration beyond borders" by bringing together aspiring students and professionals from all over the world for work. There were 14 different countries represented among the artists who worked on the film project. Sijo, who has extensive and in-depth experience in the vfx-film-animation sector, evolved into a mentor, consultant, and academician between 2014 and 2021 and helped hundreds of students and professionals to establish successful careers. At the moment, Sijo works for DNEG India as an "Artist Manager."
