John Cessna

Born in Elkhart, IN where he began writing and acting in high school, John went on to earn a BA in Film and an MFA in Photography/Electronic Media from Purdue University. He's written/directed over 20 shorts, and has photographic work in galleries throughout the country and published internationally. His fine art work focuses on the depicted image of suburbia in film and television from 1982-1999, with visual and stylistic influences including Gregory Crewdson, Allen Daviau/Spielberg, and John Hughes.
