Ernie Magnotta

Ernie Magnotta is a screenwriter and independent filmmaker from New York who has also written numerous reviews and articles for magazines such as "We Belong Dead", "Midnight Marquee", "Cinema Retro", "Multitude of Movies", "Space Monsters" and "Screem". He is known for his "Big E's 'Bad' Movies That Hurt So Good" reviews in which he lovingly and humorously points out the worth of schlocky B-movies from the 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s. Ernie also has an online column at cinema retro.com and is nearing completion of his own horror/action comic book. He's also writing a book based on the "Halloween" film series for Midnight Marquee Press, has attended The School of Visual Arts in NYC, and is gearing up to write and direct his first independent horror feature later this year.
