Nicky B

Born Nicola Heather Brodie to mother Elizabeth Brodie a GPO telephonist and father Richard Frederick Brodie a welder boilermaker by trade and also a model, actor and stuntman between the 1960s & 80s. Nicky married in 1988 and later divorced in 1992, she became a mother to Gary and Raymond Barratt. Nicky chose acting as a late career choice in her late 30s, after realising she was teaching her son's to live their dreams, but wasn't leading by example. Nicky took evening classes to study acting, comedy and singing at Stratford Circus media and performing arts centre and never looked back. Nicky couldn't decide whether to use her maiden name Brodie or her married name Barratt as her working name, so she decided to just keep the B and create Nicky B as her stage name
