Monica Floyd

Monica Floyd is a rising American entertainment executive, whose titles include director, producer, manager, artist, and writer. As Chief Executive Officer of True Vision Media Group (TVMG), she employs her natural talents to motivate others to dare to be different and to dream big dreams. While carrying out her vision to inspire through the arts, Monica has secured performance deals for artists and produced and directed music videos and films. She recently directed and produced the holiday family comedy feature film "The App That Stole Christmas" starring Ray J, Jackie Long and Elise Neal; produced and executive produced feature film "Lucky Girl" starring LeToya Luckett and Columbus Short; indie thriller "48 Hours to Live" starring James Maslow (Big Time Rush, Dancing With the Stars) and directed by Benny Boom; the Spike Lee film "Da Sweet Blood of Jesus"; and the indie psychological thriller "Avouterie" starring Sean Faris, Mechad Brooks, and Danielle Savre. Monica has also navigated the entertainment industry as a singing artist under TVMG. She has collaborated with several celebrity artists including R&B singer Ray J. With the release of her EP Get Used To This, she asserts her captivating lifestyle through five strong tracks. With collaborative features from Snoop Dogg, E-40 and Baby Bash, the EP is an experience in enjoyable, dance-friendly urban pop. As a talent manager, Monica is known to be sophisticated yet savvy when it comes to making the sale and closing the deal. With a strong management foundation acquired in the auto industry where she trained, managed and developed an entire sales team for several years, Floyd has become an accomplished leader in all facets of the entertainment business and is well known in business and entertainment arenas as a fierce negotiator and persuasive motivator who gets the job done. Prior to launching True Vision Media Group, Floyd exhibited deft management skills in the comedy arena where, through her self-owned business K&M Entertainment, she negotiated deals for high profile comedians and successfully promoted and produced numerous comedy events throughout the Los Angeles area. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in five different areas - electronic media management, cinema, television, radio and film - from Cal State University at Northridge. Because of the breadth of her educational and professional experiences, Floyd has developed a keen sense of communicating with people of all backgrounds and has been known to have conversations in French, Russian, and Arabic. It is this very valuable skill of connecting with others that will propel Floyd to be a multi-faceted talent and makes her someone to watch.
